WVU Tech's psychology department seeks volunteers for internet research study

WVU Tech’s department of psychology is looking for volunteers to participate in an internet research study.

“This is a simple research study that will ask people a series of questions about how they feel about themselves and others when they interact and communicate in online environments. It will also ask people how often they engage in a variety of online activities,” states Dr. Guy Vitaglione, chair of the department of psychology.

“We are looking for participants for this study which will take approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete. All volunteers will remain anonymous and participants must be 18 years of age or older,” Vitaglione adds.

To participate in this study volunteers will need a computer with an internet connection. To begin the questionnaire Vitaglione asks that you go to the following website:http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/interscale.

Dr. Vitaglione is the principal investigator for this research project which has been acknowledged and placed on file by the West Virginia University Institutional Review Board (IRB).
