Progress on the West Virginia University Institute of Technology’s campus continued today as demolition of the former CoEd residence hall began early this morning. The 67,176 square foot building was built in 1969.

WVU Tech to host Statewide Upward Bound Olympics on July 11
West Virginia University Institute of Technology will be hosting this summer’s statewide Upward Bound Olympics on Wednesday, July 11, 2012. Nine Upward Bound programs consisting of more than 500 participants from across the state will be in Montgomery for the day’s activities including events such as flag football, moon ball, tennis, basketball, mathletics and chess.
WVU Tech to Close Campus Monday, July 2
WVU Tech will be closed Monday, July 2 from 6 am to 5 pm, due to the severe storm on Friday that has left thousands of West Virginia residents without power. Employees are not to report to campus for work on Monday.
