Dr Gregory Lieving elected as executive officer of MABA

WVU Tech faculty member, Dr. Gregory Lieving, was recently elected as an executive officer for the Maryland Association for Behavior Analysis (MABA), a regional affiliate of the Association for Behavior Analysis International. Dr. Lieving will serve as president-elect for 2010-2011, and begin serving as president of the association in 2012.

Dr Ufuk Tureli named recipient of Science and Research HEPC grant

WVU Tech associate professor, Dr Ufuk Tureli, was recently named as a recipient of a 2010 Mini-Grant award from the Division of Science and Research (DSR) at the Higher Education Policy Commission (HEPC). Dr Tureli’s proposal, Intelligent ad hoc Radios with Dynamic Frequency and Waveform Adaptation was one of eight in a field of 22 that was awarded.

WVU Tech announces recipients of Math Field Day Scholarships

The twelve highest scoring seniors from the combined RESA III and RESA IV districts were awarded mathematics scholarships to the West Virginia University Institute of Technology during the recent Regional Mathematics Field Day.
