Coda Mountain Academy of Music to Present Brown-Bag Concert at WVU Tech

Coda Mountain Academy of Music faculty will present an entertaining brown-bag concert at West Virginia University Institute of Technology (WVU Tech) on Tuesday, February 19, between 11:30 and 12:30 at the Conley Theatre. This event is free and open to the entire Tech campus and Greater Montgomery community. Attendees can either bring their own lunch or purchase a sandwich from the WVU Tech Biology Club.

These outstanding musicians from Julliard, Peabody and the Cleveland Institute of Music will perform for eleven schools in Fayette, Kanawha, Raleigh and Cabell counties in a five-day whirlwind tour. WVU Tech is the only stop where the audience enjoys both music and lunch.

Coda Mountain Academy of Music provides high caliber musical opportunities and training for students regardless of their socio-economic status through after school programs, mini-concerts in the schools and multi-leveled summer music programs in which students study with faculty from top conservatories. This June, Coda is launching their sixth summer music festival in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains, which offers two music camps and numerous concerts open to the public.
