WVU Tech to Assist with Three Programs in MSU's Teach-out Plan

West Virginia University Institute of Technology (WVU Tech) will be partnering with Mountain State University (MSU) to offer aviation management, information technology/computer science for on-campus students and forensic investigation as part of MSU’s teach-out plan required by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). The teach-out plan was approved by the HLC on August 20, 2012.

WVU Tech will be offering the forensic investigation program for students eligible for the teach-out plan in fall 2012. Students in the aviation management and information/technology/computer science programs will complete the fall semester at MSU and transfer to WVU Tech in spring 2013.

“We believe these programs complement our academic strengths in the STEM disciplines and further advance our university mission. We are pleased to
be in a position to assist the students in these programs so that they can fulfill their dream of a college education,” explained WVU Tech CEO Carolyn Long.

MSU students in the teach-out plan for these programs should contact the WVU Tech Office of Admissions and Recruitment at 1.888.554.8324 or Tech-Admissions@mail.wvu.edu for transfer information.
